A Passover of Love

Second Seder, Saturday April 20 @ 7:00 PM, Los Feliz

LynneFeldman-AftertheRain

Join Chayot for an intimate and improvisational potluck Passover (note: this is not a traditional Seder). The spirit of this festival comes through the food we prepare ourselves (vegan and kosher for Passover).

This is a Storytelling Seder. In the spirit of freedom, we’ll relax, recline, and reflect on what the teachings of Passover mean to us personally, and how animals, nature, family, and community figure in these stories.

Where: in a private residence in Los Feliz (dress casually. Shoes removed upon entering). If not too chilly, we may move outdoors, so bring a blanket and pillow.

RSVP for address. Space is limited so reserve today.

Hunting scenes are popular motifs in historic Haggadot. It is thought that Jews can easily identify with prey. Click here for further discussion.
